National Center for Rural Development
National Center for Rural Development (NCRD) believes that a nation can progress only if its masses are educated. Education results in the overall development, within one self and in one’s surrounding. Education is the key which will transform India from being a developing country to a developed nation. National Centre for Rural Development, a registered public charitable trust, was founded in 1991 with the sole aim to uplift the rural youths with the help of its various activities.
Under its umbrella, the trust runs 7 aided and 1 CBSE schools in tribal areas, 2 CBSE schools, a Commerce College and professional courses such as Pharmacy, Management, Computer Application etc. To provide well secured accommodation for working women in Navi Mumbai, NCRD started “Working Women Hostel” at Kharghar.
Starting with one school we now stand to extend our services in 18 branches, imparting education to more than 6000 students across Maharashtra. Apart from education our students are also excelling in sports and cultural activities.
